Violent Grace is a feature documentary (now in production) tracing the life, struggles, and uncompromising vision of artist Edward Knippers—portraying how his intense engagement with the body, faith, and biblical narratives has both provoked controversy and transformed the Christian art world.
Through archival footage, in-studio scenes, and intimate interviews, the film will explore the paradox at the heart of Knippers’ work: the collision of violence and grace.
